These are some things I do throughout the week. There is nothing to lose with these 5 things, if anything, a few dollars, a couple of minutes and an unhappy subconscious.
1. Random act of Kindness
I once paid for the next person in line behind me for whatever coffee they wanted. I didn't even know them but I sure felt good about it. So maybe buy someone a coffee, even a stranger, you will instantly feel better and that you have made someone else's day. It can be as simple as a little task or getting flowers. Your pick.
Write down 3 things each morning what you are grateful for. It can be from the day before or even what is going to happen on that day
3. Get up early and go for a swim
This is a instant wake up and breath of fresh air. Gets the blood going and starts the day right. I have swam every morning, weather it be surfing or actually just going for a dip with my dad. It may be hard before you get in, but you feel awesome after.
4. Go for a walk
Get grounded, go barefoot on the sand maybe even before you go for a swim. Don't take any device and just be aware of your surroundings. People watch, nature watch, do what you like, concentrate on your breathing as you walk.
5. Leave your phone at home
This helps you be in the now rather than the past or future. Even if its just for the morning. Make it your time, don't waste time looking down on the phone.
