Limit Chemical exposure in foods
the more study I do at college, the more I realise how much crap, chemicals and processing goes on! Here are a couple of things for the everyday human to think about.
Ultimately there are so many impacts from external factors that can affect our food safety and quality. From farm to fork, there are numerous processes, procedures and practices that can either hinder (with the intent to improve) the product. Consumers should try to choose whole foods, unpackaged, unrefined, fresh produce (organic if you can) and practice hygienic handling with limited chemical exposure. Unfortunately, not everyone can eliminate every single negative affect from such influences discussed. They can simply educate and follow a list of recommendations to reduce the impact that it may have on our health, food and quality.
